The best memory she has from her time at SAD is when the team organized a hike or a yoga session during Move Week.

What was your job at SAD?

Between August 2014 and February 2015, I worked at SAD as an intern with the Operating Team of the sportanddev.org platform. At that time, I was mainly working on the French part of the website, but I also had the chance to write and translate articles that were published on the English part.

What is your best memory of your time at SAD?

The best memory I have from my time at SAD is when we as the sportanddev team took part in Move Week, an annual event aiming at promoting the benefits of being active. During this week, we organized a few activities such as a hike during lunch break or a yoga session and the experience was great! For me, it was a great bonding moment for the team and it also allowed us to put our S&D words into action.

Where do you work now and what are your responsibilities?

I currently work part-time with IMBEWU-Suisse, a small NGO using sports and arts as tools to support the education of children and young adults in South Africa. As a project manager, I’m in charge of the volunteer program and I participate in our fundraising efforts. When I’m not working with IMBEWU, I dedicate my time in working as an on-call social worker. In a near future, I plan on pursuing my studies with a master of social work project management, hoping to be able to keep working with sport as a tool for social change.
