Last week, SAD elected Ernst Schläpfer as president of the Foundation Board. This former top athlete and rector of the upper-secondary vocational school in Schaffhausen has an excellent network in the areas of sport and education.
Schläpfer takes over from Hanspeter Fagagnini, who has been appointed honorary president. As an emeritus professor of the University of St. Gallen and former director general of the Swiss federal railways, Fagagnini is very familiar with national and international politics, economics and academia. He led SAD with foresight and impressed with his comprehensive management style. We would like to thank Hanspeter Fagagnini for his outstanding work, commitment and warm manner.
