“I really liked the fact that each game had a lesson to it.”
“Before the camp at Sadili Oval Sports Academy, Esther thought she knew everything about HIV/AIDS. I knew I would learn something, but not as much as I have learnt so far,” said the 11-year-old. “For example, I know now how easily HIV can be transmitted and that you can be healthy today and infected tomorrow.” What Esther liked most was the way coaches taught the subject. “I really liked the fact that each game had a lesson to it, and that the coaches explained to us what each of them meant. I wish every lesson in my school was accompanied by such interesting games,” added Esther with a laugh. “I would never miss school even once.”
