In June 2023, the Swiss Academy for Development (SA4D) entered a joint venture agreement with Football For All (FFA). The youth-led non-profit organization has the mission of empowering disadvantaged children and youth in India, Bangladesh and around the world by providing them with football equipment.
Like SA4D, FFA is convinced that sport and physical activity make an important contribution to the healthy development of children and young people, as well as to the social cohesion of their communities. As part of the partnership and its jointly defined goals, SA4D supports FFA in, among other things, building a strong network of local project partners and ensuring evidence-based evaluation of project activities. In doing so, the partnership with FFA represents for SA4D, a further deepening of its many years of experience in development cooperation in India.
We are convinced that SA4D’s expertise in the field of sport for development as well as its broad network will support FFA’s development to an established NGO in the field of sport for development.
