The Sadili Oval Sports Academy is a Kenyan NGO based in Nairobi, and particularly active in Kibera, one of the world’s biggest slums. Through sport and education, Sadili aims to improve the health of children and young people, thereby making a better future, and a way out of poverty, possible. The infrastructure that Sadili offers in Kenya is unique, and provides a space where children and young people can learn through sport and play, learn what fair play is and learn how to deal with winning and losing.
The former tennis player and Kenya’s first immunologist Elizabeth Odera, founded the Sadili Oval Sports Academy over 20 years ago. To this day, the charity has cared for over 11 000 children.
SA4D and Sadili implemented a sexual violence prevention project together.
