Anantapur Sports Academy (ASA) was founded in 2000 in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. ASA’s main objective is to achieve sustainable social change among the underprivileged and marginalized children and youth of rural Anantapur, through sport. Girls and boys have equitable opportunities to participate in sports activities and make a career in that field, access quality education in a safe and holistic learning environment, become confident leaders within their communities. ASA’s programs promote the development of life skills such as for children and young people to grow and successfully overcome future challenges.
Together with SA4D, ASA aims to facilitate access to quality education and to foster decent work opportunities for disadvantaged children and youth in rural India.
